Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23rd, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. The Cyrus siblings comprise two half-brothers, half-sisters and half-brothers as well as an older brother, sister and a half-sister. Parents named their daughter Miley with the hopes that she will achieve greatness. Miley was her name in the early years because of the jovial nature of Miley. Ron Cyrus was her grandfather. Cyrus began her education at Heritage Elementary School in Tennessee. The family she was born in moved from Tennessee to Toronto Canada when she was eight years old, and Billy Ray Cyrus took on a part in Doc (2001) in which she was the main character on in the TV show. Around this time that Cyrus determined that she wanted to be an actor as well. Her first acting role was with her father in Doc (2001). In addition, Cyrus played a role in Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003). Cyrus was as a character in Hannah Montana (2006) (a Disney show that follows a teenager woman with a dual life singing) in the role of Hannah Montana, who is the protagonist. Her father appeared along with the show. The show went on to be an enormous success. Tours that sold out and agreements with merchandise companies came later. Cyrus became famous as a teenager. Cyrus began taking on various roles in the wake of her popularity with Hannah Montana (2006). The roles included Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song, 2010) as well as Lola (in LOL (2012)), alongside Demi Moor.
